One Year Home Warranty
Our inspection company is also qualified to offer you a home
warranty on your homes components. We can do this at the same time as we perform
a full home inspection if you are buying a home.
Already own your home and still want a warranty? We also offer a home warranty
inspection for homeowners who want protection from equipment breakdown or
failure that can be a huge benefit in cost savings should any covered components
fail.
See if your home qualifies
for a one year home warranty with no pre-existing conditions for all items that
passed during the home inspection.
This warranty is different.
As your home inspector, if we pass the component listed in
the home warranty and it fails, it's covered with the HomeGauge Warranty
Program! No pre-existing! Your warranty will cover the claim even if it was
pre-existing, if the inspector passed it as satisfactorily working without the
need for service or repair. This "unprecedented" added protection is a program
for customers of home inspectors that use HomeGauge Software to produce their
reports!
In your terms of service agreement it states:
SECTION 4. OTHER OPTIONAL COVERAGES
4.1 HOME INSPECTION SERVICE OPTION
COVERED: Non detected pre-existing conditions: We will
cover existing defects or mechanical failures if not detected during the
home inspection...
So, if a claim is made, the warranty claim office will electronically review the
inspection report. If the defective item had passed during the inspection
(called undetected pre-existing), it's covered! If a repair request was
recommended and noted on the report, you can still purchase this warranty, but
this item must have been serviced or repaired as needed in satisfactory working
order prior to closing and issuing of the warranty to be covered. All you need
is to retain the invoice receipt showing that the item or component was repaired
by a qualified service company. Most other warranty companies do not consider
the home inspection report when a claim is made. They usually ask the serviceman
to determine if it was "pre-existing" and if it is, then likely it is NOT
covered. These other companies typically charge a $75 claim fee paid to the
service repairman to find this out! This warranty you are being offered today
only charges $50 as a claim fee and if the inspector passed it then its covered!
Your Home qualifies with no pre-existing exceptions as
long as that item passed during the home inspection!
Because you have had a home inspection, your home is
eligible for a one year home warranty.
What is covered? With the HomeGauge warranty program your
warranty covers many components and is proudly spelled out at your
Terms of Service.
To find out if any items above are not covered or need service or repair prior
to the warranty coverage, please review your inspection report. If there is an
item or items needing repair and is normally part of coverage, then have those
items repaired and keep the receipt. Should you have a claim, if you can show
the receipt where the item was brought back to satisfactory condition prior to
it breaking down, it's covered! Repairs on one service call can cost hundreds of
dollars, but you can rest easier, with less limitations which translates to more
coverage! Buying this warranty makes sense! See below for an exact quote online
