Phil was awesome! He was very professional and took the time to answer any and all questions I had. He even answered basic home repair questions that i had that were not connected to the inspection. He was very thorough and pointed out the most minor things. The final report was in my e-mail box within the day. Since the Radon test took additional time I wasn't expecting the report until Monday since the inspection was done on Friday. However i was most pleased to see the radon report in my inbox on Sunday. I would highly recommend Phil for any house inspection. On a side note he let me check out the thermal imager which was pretty cool too.

Phil was excellent as a home inspector. I followed him everywhere and he answered all my questions patiently and clearly, providing perspective and opinion on seriousness and remediation, and where to go for additional expert advice where necessary. His report was equally clear and detailed, and was provided less than a day after the inspection. He even contacted me a few days after the inspection with another idea about a possible root cause of a damp problem, "because it had been bugging him". Very professional, very thorough, and very pleasant - a great inspector.

Phil Gage is an exceptional real estate inspector. We had the opportunity to use Phil's expertise twice in two months. We (Jeff and Elizabeth, re: 28380 E. 162 CT) took your advice and had the septic line video scoped. Turns out the previous owner's "water feature" (10 tons of rock) crushed the septic line. Estimate $7000 to repair.

Phil is the BEST Inspector around. He inspected a house for us and found some "deal breaking" issuse- like enough mold to call in the EPA- We would never have been able to see it. It was the best money we have ever spent. We then hired him again to inspect the home we hope to raise our two boys in safely.
